Tree Division Manager:

We have a valuable opportunity for the right candidate. We are looking for an experienced individual to help grow our tree services with a Direct Report to the President of Patriot Line Clearing. Our ideal candidate will be motivated, will have aptitude, a positive attitude, and knowledge and experience in all areas of Arbor services. well organized, capable of high levels of communication internally and externally. This is a salaried position and is eligible for benefits, including sick, vacation, health and dental after 90 days. Job Description:

1. Establish mission, goals and direction of tree division

2. Perform and manage tree pruning/removal operations

3. Estimate, propose and sell tree pruning and removals

4. Hire, discipline, train, coach tree trimming crews

5. Ensure safe operations are always performed by tree trimming crews

6. Basic management and budgetary tasks will be required

7. Communicate property issues to appropriate people

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 25 years of age

2. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

3. Must have at least 3-5 years field experience in safe pruning and removal of trees

4. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience safely climbing, rigging and working from bucket trucks

5. Demonstrate ability to hire, train, coach and lead tree trimming crew

6. Ability to identify hazards and prevent damage to persons or property during tree trimming operations

7. Must have demonstrated ability to estimate, propose and sell tree pruning and removal services

8. Have and maintain professional image

9. Drivers license required. DMV check performed prior to employment

10. Drug test given prior to employment

11. Preferred degree in forestry, horticulture or business or other relevant discipline. Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

12. ISA Certified arborist or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire

13. Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.

14. Ability to work outside of typical hours in case of emergency tree operations
